Damien Nedonchelle was born in 1957. He began studying music at 5. In 1967, he entered the Paris National conservatory (CNSM). At the same time, he studied piano with Lucette Descaves and harmony with Jeanine Rueff and Henri Challan. He got the first piano price and Chamber Music price in 1974. Damien entered the Dominic Merlet’s class and played as a solist in Salle Gaveau (Paris) with orchestra conducted by Marius Constant. He took part in Paul Badura-Skoda’s, Gyorgy Sebok’s and Byron Janis master classes. He won the gold medal in Viatti international competition in Vercelli (Italy) and the first prices in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue in Paris National Conservatory (CNSM).

Damien devoted himself more particulary to chamber music repertoire and accompaniment with Jean Koerner. His music partners are Gérard Caussé, Colette Lequien, Annie Jordy, David Grimal, Jean Barthe..... He’s performing in France and in foreign Countries and takes part in several recording.

His repertoire is wide-ranging. He’s performing as a solist with orchestra conducted by Roger Boutry, Bernard Thomas, Janos Komives. He has been assistant director for 4 years in CNR of Boulogne-Billancourt and currently he’s managing the Jazz department at the same place.

He teaches at the Académie musicale de Villecroze in 1993.
