François-Frédéric Guy is widely regarded as an outstanding interpreter of the German Romantics and Beethoven in particular, whose piano sonatas he has recorded in their entirety along with works for cello with Xavier Phillips, for violin with Tedi Papavrami, the 5 concertos with the O.P.R.F. under Philippe Jordan’s direction, and with Sinfornia Varsovia in the dual role of pianist/conductor as part of the 2019Printemps des Artsin Monaco.

Over the course of his career he has worked with some of the world’s greatest conductors including Marc Albrecht, Fabien Gabel, Bernard Haitink, Daniel Harding, Philippe Jordan, Kent Nagano, Michael Nesterowicz, Kazushi Ono, Josep Pons, Pascal Rophé, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Antoni Witt and Jaap van Zweden, and with renowned orchestras such as the Wiener Symphoniker, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra, among others.

Since 2012, he regularly conducts various piano ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Liege, Sinfonia Varsovia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife, the National Orchestra of Pays de la Loire and the Orchester de Chambre de Paris.

In the 2019-2020 season he continues with his interpretation of the complete Beethoven Sonatas in Seoul and Tokyo. He also performs in recitals and with orchestras in London, Paris and Warsaw, at the Festival International de Piano de La Roque d'Anthéron, the Enescu Festival in Bucharest, the Arsenal in Metz, and in Italy and Montreal under the direction of Christoph Eschenbach.
