Following his musical studies at the Conservatoire in Amiens and then in Rueil-Malmaison, Nicolas Dessenne is accepted at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris where he has been awarded numerous first prizes.
Laureate of a Certificat d'Aptitude in accompaniment, Nicolas Dessenne has taught this specialty in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Aubervilliers-La Courneuve from 1986 to 2018.
Now he is teacher accompanist at the Conservatoire of Abbeville, near Amiens.
Besides a rich and very diversified career as a chamber music pianist, Nicolas Dessenne has an outstanding knowledge of the clarinet repertoire and he is known as one of the best specialists.
