Born in Madrid, Luis began his musical studies in his hometown with Rosalía Pareja and Javier Rovira. He completed his training at the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Joaquín Soriano and Ana Guijarro and, for four years, at the Reina Sofía School of Music with Galina Eguiazarova, Márta Gulyás and Luis Fernando Pérez. He has received scholarships from different institutions such as Ibercaja, Fundación Albéniz, AIE, Juventudes Musicales de Madrid or the Community of Madrid.
He is regularly requested to collaborate with different musicians and formations, having performed in the main Spanish halls such as the National Music Auditorium, the Teatro Real, the Teatros del Canal, the Palau de la Música of Barcelona and the Edgar Neville Auditorium of Malaga and in countries such as Italy, Mexico, France, Israel, Germany, Sweden or Serbia. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Freixenet Orchestra, Madrid Symphony Orchestra, Castilla León Symphony Orchestra and has been present at festivals and concert series such as AIE Clásicos en Ruta, Encuentro of Music and Santander Academy, FIT Xixona, Juan Gual i Esteve Festival, Barco Teatro de Padova Festival. He has recorded his first album with the flautist Alberto Navarra, for the magazine Falaut.
In the teaching field, he has worked at the Pablo Sarasate Conservatory of Pamplona, at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Navarra, at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Castilla León, at the Higher Conservatory of Music of Aragón and at the Royal Higher Conservatory of Music of Madrid. Currently, he combines his concert activity with teaching at the Alfonso X el Sabio University of Madrid and at the Reina Sofía School of Music as an accompanist pianist professor in the Flute and Horn Cathedra.
