Kojiro OKADA was born on August 21, 1999 in Bordeaux. He began playing the violin with his brother but quickly turned to the piano and entered the Bordeaux Regional Conservatory in 2006 in the class of Marie-Christine Dubernat. In 2008, he was admitted to the CRR of Paris in the class of Anne-Lise Gastaldi and obtained, at the age of thirteen, his piano prize with honors. He then entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (CNSMD) in Paris in the class of Hortense Cartier-Bresson where he obtained his bachelor's degree with honors. He is currently studying for his master's degree in the class of Florent Boffard.

He has already performed in many venues in Paris, in 2010 at the Salle Pleyel on the occasion of the bicentenary of Chopin, in 2013 at the Théâtre du Châtelet for a charity concert entitled "Tous en cœur" ... He also participates in the Chopin festival in Nohant, the festival Nohant Hors les Murs, the festival of the Orangerie de Sceaux... He shares the stage with great musicians such as Marie-Josèphe Jude, Frank Braley, Philippe Graffin, Miguel da Silva, Jérôme Pernoo, Yves Henry.

In October 2018, he won the first prize in the Gabriel Fauré International Competition.
He recently participated in the performances of the Paris Chamber Music Center at the Salle Cortot.

He participated in the 2019 piano master class conducted by Jean-François Hesser and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger in Villecroze. In 2022, he returns to the Academy as a member of the Parlando project directed by cellist Jérémy Garbarg. Together with Ryo Kojima on violin, they form the Trio Consonance.
