A native of Trois-Rivières, Olivier Hébert-Bouchard is a graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Trois-Rivières (unanimous award with high distinction) and the Manhattan School of Music (master's degree with distinction), where he was also a scholarship recipient. He completed his education through advanced programs at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg in Austria, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, the Académie Internationale d'Été de Nice, and the Juilliard School, as well as with numerous internationally renowned pianists.

Mr. Hébert-Bouchard is a laureate of numerous national and international competitions, including the Julia Crane International Piano Competition, the Gian Battista Viotti International Piano Competition, the Missouri Southern International Piano Competition, the OSM/Standard Life Competition, the Toronto Symphony National Piano Competition, and the Wigmore Hall International Song and Lied Competition.
He performs as a soloist and chamber musician with numerous North American ensembles. An active radio artist, he can be heard on ICI Musique, Radio-Canada International, CBC, and the European Broadcasting Union.
His participation in several festivals and tours includes performances for Tanglewood on Parade, Jeunesses Musicales Canada, the Festival International du Domaine Forget, CAMMAC, the Festival des Nouvelles Musiques de Montréal, the Festival Bach Montréal, the Société Pro Musica, the Canadian Opera Company Chamber Music Series, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the New York Flute Fair, the Mise-En Music Festival, the Festival Orford Musique, the Festival d'Opéra de Québec, and the Nuits Magiques de Nice in France.


A multidisciplinary art enthusiast, Mr. Hébert-Bouchard participates in numerous mixed projects combining dance, theater, improvisation, visual arts, and music, with Corpus Rhésus Danse, The Juilliard School, Mois Multi de Québec, the Festival International de la Poésie de Trois-Rivières, and the Conservatoires d'art dramatique du Québec, among others. He also played André Mathieu's piano double in Luc Dionne's film L'enfant prodige, which was released in theaters in the spring of 2010.

From 2011 to 2015, Mr. Hébert-Bouchard was a professor of piano accompaniment at the Conservatoire de musique de Rimouski, the Conservatoire de musique de Québec, and Laval University. Since 2015, he has regularly participated as a collaborative pianist and coach in activities at the University of Montreal, McGill University, and UQAM. He is also invited to numerous competitions and music academies, including the Académie Internationale d'Été de Nice, the New York Summer Music Festival, the Académie de musique et danse du Domaine Forget, the Institut Canadien d'Art Vocal, the Canadian Music Competition, the Tremplin International, the Prix d'Europe, and the OSM Competition. He gives numerous recitals throughout Quebec, Canada, and North America.

In 2015, Mr. Hébert-Bouchard founded the Duo Palladium. Since then, he has also become a founding member of the Trio Émerillon, alongside clarinetist Charlotte Layec and violinist Elizabeth Skinner. Since the very beginning of his career, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with a number of extraordinary artists, including Emmanuel Pahud, Susan Hoeppner, Mario Caroli, Leone Buyse, Vicens Prats, Robert Langevin, Gustavo Nuñez, Gilbert Audin, Jesper Busk Sørensen, Chris Gekker, Éric Aubier, Tom Hooten, Stefan Dohr, Louis-Philippe Marsolais, Oystein Baadsvik, Sergio Carolino, Julian Rachlin, and Stéphane Tétreault.
