The Académie musicale de Villecroze organizes this chamber music masterclass for wind instruments for highly skilled young professional musicians wishing to refine their skills under Professor Alexei Ogrintchouk.
8 instrumentalists will be selected for this masterclass: 2 oboists, 2 clarinetists, 2 horn players, and 2 bassoonists. The purpose of the masterclass is to explore in depth the repertoire for reed trio, piano quintet, and wind octet.
Masterclass tuition, lessons, accommodation, and meals on site are fully covered by the Académie for the entire duration of the masterclass.
Only transportation to the Académie is the participant’s responsibility. Students living abroad who encounter difficulties and are unable to afford a plane ticket may apply for financial assistance to cover part of their travel expenses; each request is carefully considered.
