We discovered Alona Milner during Avedis Kouyoumdjian's master class in 2021. She returns to the Academy for a creation residency around Maurice Ravel's La Valse. She will be accompanied by two dancers, Ziv Besor and Shira Ekouby, and a film crew for the production of a video clip inspired by Balanchine's La Valse and the work of choreographer Teresa de Keersmaeker.
This residency will be punctuated by a concert-performance at the Auditorium de la Dracénie on 11 July, focusing on the history of the waltz through the ages and using excerpts from works by Schubert, Brahms, Chopin and Ravel.
