Theme L’Europe de mes rêves is an ambitious artistic and cultural educational project with 500 middle-school students from the Region and the composer Thierry Machuel, to create a choral work composed around texts written by the students.
L’Europe de mes rêves is an ambitious artistic and cultural educational project with 500 middle-school students from the Region and the composer Thierry Machuel, to create a choral work composed by the artist around texts written by the students.
Teachers of Musical Education, Letters, Living Languages, History & Geography and Librarians invited their students to learn about the 28 countries in the European Union and asked them to write texts in the form of a poem, dialogue, haiku, etc. on theme L’Europe de mes rêves.
Hundreds of texts have been compiled into a libretto; Thierry Machuel has chosen those to be translated into the different European languages to compose his work.
