Pierre-Yves Hodique obtained the highest awards at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris in piano, chamber music and vocal accompaniment in the classes of Jean-François Heisser, Claire Désert and Anne Le Bozec and won the Prize in 2011 for best accompanying pianist at the International Tchaikovsky Cello Competition in Moscow.

Counting among his chamber music partners Edgar Moreau, Aurélien Pascal, Alexandra Conunova, Thomas Lefort, Raphaëlle Moreau, Julien Szulman, Adélaïde Ferrière, Nima Sarkechik and the baritone Samuel Hasselhorn with whom he won the Lied Prize at the Competition in 2013 international singer-piano Nadia and Lili Boulanger, he has notably performed at the Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, at the Berlin Philharmonie, at the Konzerthaus in Dortmund, at the Cologne Philharmonie, at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, at the Musikverein and at the Konzerthaus in Vienna, at the KKL in Lucerne, at the Barbican Center and at the Wigmore Hall in London, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, at the Ferrara theater, at the Fazioli Hall in Sacile, at the Société Bilbao Philharmonic, at the Oji Hall in Tokyo, at the Folle Journee in Nantes, at the Flâneries musicales in Reims, at the Radio-France and Montpellier festivals, at the festivals of Saint-Denis, Nohant, Périgord noir, at the Opéra Grand Avignon, at the Grand Théâtre d'Aix-en-Provence, at the Arsenal de Metz, at the Louvre auditorium, at the Cité de la Musique, at the Seine Musicale, at the Musicales de Bagatelle...

Pierre-Yves is a laureate of the Banque Populaire Corporate Foundation, the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, the Meyer Foundation, and the Fondation de France. Since September 2018 he has been teaching piano at the CRR in Boulogne-Billancourt. He recorded for the Erato label in duo with cellist Edgar Moreau in 2014 (Diapason d'or Découverte and Classique d'or RTL), for the Mirare label in duo with violinist Thomas Lefort in 2019 and for the Initiale label in duo with violinist Julien Szulman in 2020.
