Based on Alexandre Dumas’s work, the opera is centred on the Three Musketeers and the French Queen Anne’s stolen diamond studs. D’Artagnan dreams of becoming a Musketeer. To please his beloved Constance, he does his utmost to save the Queen’s honour. But Cardinal Richelieu and the scheming Milady de Winter strive to thwart his plan...
